It is with the greatest regret that we learn Chris Castle, better known as ‘Dad’ to the Mitsubishi rally family, has lost his seven-year battle with cancer.
Chris was one of the longest serving members of the Mitsubishi rally operation, having seen four decades – the 1980s, ‘90s, ‘000s and 2010s with the team through its many guises. He was a dedicated and versatile professional and always sported his trademark smile regardless of the pressures on the team.
When Mitsubishi left rallying officially, Chris remained loyal to the new MML Sports operation and continued to be a core part of the new team, as he was in the old.
The staff of MML Sports wish to express their sincerest condolences to Chris’ wife Sue and two sons, Ollie and Tom.
