UK motorsport specialist MML Sports has launched its online webshop, allowing customers to order components and parts to build Group N and R4-specification Mitsubishi Lancer EvolutionX rally cars direct from the company’s website. The system uses real-time stock levels and secure payment systems to offers its customers the most convenient and effective method of purchasing their motorsport components.
Under development for several months, the system integrates with MML Sports’ new IT infrastructure and has been created to allow customers around the world to quickly and effectively order components, from a battery to a brand new Mitsubishi Lancer EvolutionX RS road car.
The Group N parts have been developed by MML Sports using its decades of experience in the FIA World Rally Championship and are available off-the-shelf.
A full conversion kit is also available to bring the EvoX up to the latest R4 specification, which MML Sports has demonstrated is comparable in terms of pace with the normally-aspirated specification of Super 2000 rally cars.
The R4 conversion kit can be supplied either as a set of the necessary suspension components, the lightweight conversion kit or both to bring an EvoX up to full R4 spec, using components developed jointly by MML Sports at the request of the Mitsubishi Motor Corporation.
Commenting, MML Sports Managing Director John Easton said: “I am delighted that the webshop is now operational and we have already been receiving orders through it.
“We developed the webshop to offer our customers the most convenient and efficient method of ordering parts for their cars, whether built locally or by us.
“The inclusion of the opportunity to purchase a brand-new Lancer EvolutionX RS road car means that customers can purchase every single component from us, through the webshop, to build their own Group N or R4 specification rally car from scratch.”
The webshop is now live on the MML Sports website.
